At last! We are past Memorial Day and the temperatures have spiked upwards, which you can finally get your summer on. Here are the best places and events to check out this weekend throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

Locust Street Festival of Music and Art

Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood celebrates its biggest party of the summer at the Locust Street Festival of Music and Art. Enjoy six stages of entertainment, food, vendors and the infamous Beer Run! The good times run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

NEWaukee Social at the South Shore Beer Garden

NEWaukee is giving networking events a whole new outlook with fun food and drink specials. The South Shore Beer Garden will host the latest event in an effort to bring young professionals together for free.

Fiesta Waukesha a three-day music and cultural festival held in Frame Park on the banks of the Fox River in Waukesha. The festival is free to the public and offers a wide variety of Hispanic entertainment, Latin American cuisine, amusement rides, children’s area and much more.

The band shell at City Beach in Oconomowoc, Wis. is hosting its first free concert of the summer this Friday! The Boogie Men will be Oconomowoc's first group, and there will be plenty of food and drink at the Buddies Beach Bungalow.

PrideFest

Milwaukee kicks off the summer this weekend with PrideFest, one of the nation's largest LGBT festivals. Located at the Summerfest grounds, PrideFest is a three-day event with various musical guests and performances.

"Detours" of Milwaukee

Hop on this bus tour and visit various hidden gems throughout the Milwaukee area. Beginning at Haymarket Square, you'll move along to iconic locations, such as the St. Joan of Arc Chapel on Marquette's campus, and The Pfister Hotel. Tickets are $20, and food and drink is included.

Milwaukee Bucks Third Annual Block Party

The Bucks are bringing back their block party!  Come on down to Schlitz Park on Saturday afternoon to see current and former players, such as Malcolm Brogdon and Vin Baker. The team will also make its first major announcement regarding the Bucks' 50th anniversary celebration, which will take place throughout the 2017-18 season.

Oshkosh Irish Fest

Oshkosh has its very own Irish festival! Come and enjoy Celtic music, authentic Irish food, and of course, the famous Irish dancers. There is also a 5K Run/Walk.

"McGuire" at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater
